Query - BSE optical code for yambo

Post by claudio »

Hi Claudio

I am following your very nice guidance about how to prepare a yambo input file for BSE calculations (I am trying to simulate optical spectra))
Yambo input file for BSE calculations explained | Claudio Attaccalite's Homepage
However, I encounter a problem - when I use the input code you present on the page I don't get the same results as you have on the webpage

Code: Select all

yambo -o b -k sex -y d -p p -V qp
I've pasted below the input file which is created - could you help?
What I'm thinking is maybe the input tags have been adjusted since you're posting, or there's something wrong with my build of yambo
I'm using

Code: Select all

yambo Ver. 5.3.0 Revision 23927 Hash 1730222ea.
WIth kindest thanks

Dear Ian

my webpage is a bit outdated, please look at the wiki tutorials

https://www.lumen-code.org/wiki/index.p ... =Tutorials.

and download the last version of Lumen (our fork of Yambo).

In reply to your question you can generate the input with the command:

for the Bethe-Salpeter

Code: Select all

yambo -o b -k sex -y d -X p -V qp
let me know if it works
best
Claudio
